We found this Portamount 4 & 8 track tape compatible player manual just a half mile down the road from 8 Track Shack at a yard sale. Neat little unit with detachable speakers and switches that allow you to play either 4 tracks or 8-track tapes. Pics of owner’s manual below.

Read moreThe 8 Track Shack warehouse is full 8-track tape players that have bunged up and abused fake wood cases. Nobody wants a player with a scratched up and dented case with pushed in corners and damaged vinyl veneer….so they just sit there in case we need parts. Until now. We’ve just completed our first clear cased 8 track tape player deck and added it to our inventory. You can see more pictures of it here.
